Ed Sanders · The Secret Index to the Past

DOCD6020 – Ed Sanders · The Secret Index to the Past.

It was our original plan to celebrate Ed Sanders’ 60th anniversary as a recording artist with a Greatest Hits album. This plan was abandoned simply because Ed came up with a handful of great new songs, that we simply had to get documented. Here they are together with two recent incredible tracks from Sanders and fellow rock legend John B Sebastian recording together for the first time.
With the assistance of the Danish psychedelic pop duo Hasse Åbner Ild (Hasse Opens Fire) and Danish keyboard veteran Mogens Papsøe we have created an exciting and different album on the basis of Ed Sanders’ excellent vocals and strum stick performances – a blend of magic poetry, mysterious sounds – and important messages from one of the greatest artists of our time…
