Ed Sanders · The Sanders-Olufsen Poetry and Classical Music Project

Ed Sanders · The Sanders-Olufsen Poetry and Classical Music Project (Olufsen Records 1923)

When we grow older, some of us loose the inner flame, others still feel like 17 inside. A look in the mirror is all that’s needed to confirm this contradiction.

As you can hear on this CD, the poet and singer Ed Sanders is still keeping the issues alive. As the last of the american beatnik generation poets he is widely respected for his political and human beliefs. His poetry spans from travels through history and heartfelt warnings against the heartless political system to poems of timeless beauty.

I was so happy that Ed Sanders with an open mind accepted my invitation to create this poetry soundtrack, where the Classical music adds something unconscious to the spoken word.
Even though he doesn’t sing on this album, there is so much music in his voice and in his poetry. Vocal album of the year?
Enjoy!
